The Airshow of the Cascade 2009 show is really taking shape, we are excited to again have Aerial Performers Bud Granley performing, along with Dan Buchanan. We are thrilled to add Rob Harrison, The Tumbling Bear Bob Finer in his Pitts, Fortress SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY a World War II vintage B-17 bomber airplane, HomeLand Fireworks, Central Oregon Skydivers, JROTC, 234th Oregon National Guard Band, Sean VanHatten, and much more.
Airshow admission is only $5 per day for adults and kids 12 and under are free. NEW - All Vetran's admission is FREE! Courtesy of Butler Aircraft. There are limited VIP passes available for an additional $20. This will give you access to a covered area along the show line, chairs and refreshments. Parking is free. Helicopter and Airplane rides will be available for additional fees.
The Madras Airport built during WWII, with its historic hangers and majestic views of the Cascades Mountains makes for a airshow venue that is unmatched to any other. Located in Central Oregon, Madras is adjacent to the communities and resorts of Bend, Redmond, Prineville and Sisters and a short drive from Eugene, Portland and even the Seattle areas. The Cross Keys Inn located in Madras Oregon is the host hotel for this years event, with other options available including the Kah-nee-ta Resort, Best Western Madras Inn and Sonny’s Motel.
